What's Up, Doc?

Judson apparently is part bunny rabbit.  Last week, he insisted on having a carrot (a large carrot, not a baby carrot), and he carried it around, munching on it while he played, like a little blonde Bugs Bunny.  It went in his pocket for safe keeping when he couldn't spare a hand to carry it.  Whatever it takes to get him to eat his veggies.  I just hope I can remember to check his pockets for raw vegetables before doing the laundry.  

Three Little Birds

The kids have had some fun trips visiting the grandparents lately.  Here they are at Peepaw's house:

I know they're exhausting, but the grandparents sure do seem to miss them when they're gone. There's just something about them that can turn your mood 180 degrees.  I was cooking dinner one beautiful afternoon, and I put the kids outside on the back porch with some popcorn and my Bluetooth speaker playing some fun jams while I cooked.  Every few minutes I would poke my head out the door to see how they were doing.  They were so cute dancing and singing, and it made my heart overflow.  It reminded me of the lyrics to a happy song ("Three Little Birds" by Bob Marley):

 It's hard to worry about much of anything when these three little birds are singing on your doorstep.  Oh, how I love them!

Easter 2018

We have been blessed with another beautiful Easter weekend to celebrate that Christ is risen from the dead, having defeated sin and death!
