We have found our family happy place: Club Med Sandpiper Bay in Port St. Lucie, Florida. Two yoga classes a day, all-you-can-eat buffet for breakfast, lunch, snacks and dinner (cooked by someone besides me), as much sun and swimming as one can take, flying trapeze, parades, fireworks, treasure hunts, nightly live shows - what's not to love? We could get used to this type of life.
This was our fourth time here, and we've loved it every time. But this time was extra great. The kids all enjoyed the mini-club (so mom and dad could relax by the adult pool), and they all swam like little fish even in the deepest water. Each night they looked forward to staying up late for the nightly show and thoroughly enjoyed every one. Caleb is already planning his version of the shows to perform when we get home.
Sadly, we learned that Club Med Sandpiper Bay is closing in September, so this will be our last trip here. While we wish we could return for many more family vacations, we are so grateful to have experienced this amazing family resort, and we will forever cherish our time here.
