The Fun Days of Christmas

This December has certainly been fun-filled.   From birthday celebrations to school parties to trips to Pigeon Forge with the family, we've been busy.  To memorialize this fun month, here's a little diddy I wrote...
[To be sung as the last verse of "The Twelve Days of Christmas."]

On the twelfth day of Christmas, my true loves gave to me...
12 hours of tree decorating (or at least that's what it felt like to me by the time I found the decorations and re-found them after a child misplaced them...)
11 times of asking (per hour...to play with these pool balls found at the house we stayed at in Pigeon Forge.  These boys (or maybe just Caleb) loved the numbers on these balls!  He was sad when we couldn't take them home with us.)
10 miles of walking (or at least that's probably what it felt like to her.  While Mamaw took the shuttle, someone had to transport the walker to our destination and back again.  Ra Ra was the best looking walker-user we saw all day.)
9 minutes of laughing (That's about how long we all were laughing on this cool see-saw we found at a neat local park in Pigeon Forge.)
8 hours of driving (total drive to and from our house in Pigeon Forge.  The babies did great the whole way, thankfully!)
7 visitors singing (to celebrate Mamaw Sheila's birthday.  Complete with a giant, yummy red velvet cake.)
6 point touchdowns (football time for the big boys at the fun park.)
5 happy kiddos
(Watching the Blue Grass band with PaPaw.  Can you see them "playing" their instruments too?)

("Does show know how to drive this thing?!")
4 spins 'round the wheel (the Ferris Wheel, that is.  What views!)
3 sleepy babies (they definitely slept more than the rest of us...except for when Wren decided it was time to wake everyone up at 4 a.m. one night!)
(Judson didn't seem to mind his make-shift bed.)
2 tired parents (Taking care of all these little ones amidst all this activity - away from home - is no joke!)
Makes for one happy December!
