Take Me Out to the Ball Game

14 nosebleed seat tickets to the Labor Day afternoon Braves game:  $140
1 parking spot half a mile from the stadium:  $19
9 King of Pops popsicles:  $36
An afternoon at the ball park and the Battery with loved ones:  Priceless

15 minutes of the blazing heat was about all we could handle, and hey, we figured that we got our $8's worth.  We then went in search of a playground or some other form of diversion.  We didn't find that, but we did find popsicles (and air conditioning).

Luckily for us, the diversion we couldn't find in the stadium could be found just outside of it.  We didn't have swimsuits or towels, but we didn't care.  When it's over 90 degrees outside and there's a fountain, I think it's required that you play in it.

Right next to the fountain is a fantastic field for playing ball, lounging around, or (in our case), running around to dry off.

When we were finally dry enough to go indoors, we ate a yummy dinner at Yard House, followed by a few more photos before the trek back to the car.

We all agreed that we would definitely do this again.  (Especially since we didn't lose anyone in the crowd!)
