Super Stars

So my wonderful in-laws said they wanted to take all three kids to their house to spend a few nights today...What?! I may have been a little more excited than I should have been.  I instantly swore of all cooking for the next 48 hours and started listing all the things I could accomplish.
And then I proceeded to miss them terribly and to stare longingly at all the pictures of them in my phone. That wasn't on the to-do-list.
So why not kill two birds with one stone and finally make a blog post with all my random pictures of late (which was actually on the to-do-list) while admiring my oh-so-adorable children?  So without further ado, here are my three little super stars...

Please pardon the silver and pink shoes...Wren's shoes were apparently the only shoes close at hand.

Judson's First Haircut

Judson was starting to look a bit shaggy, so we knew it was a time for a haircut.  He sat still for the haircut like a perfect little gentleman.

Port St. Lucie Vacation & First Day of School 2017

Tony and I recently had the opportunity to take a WEEK LONG vacation to Florida WITHOUT THE KIDS!  Our wonderful family stepped up to take turns watching them so that we could take some much-needed time to rest and relax...and practice yoga (for me, not Tony).  I was the guest yoga instructor at Club Med at Sandpiper Bay, which is just north of West Palm Beach.  In between my two yoga classes a day, we ate, played golf and tennis (er...we tried to play golf and tennis), ate some more, lounged by the pool, took naps, and then ate some more.  It was AMAZING!
This was the view from our room.

And here's where I held my yoga classes each morning.

Don't we look relaxed?

We even took in a local minor league baseball game so we could see Tim Tebow in action.

Meanwhile, back at home...

They all had a blast with the grandparents, and I'm not even sure if they missed us at all...
But we sure did miss them.  I keep saying that our vacation was just a few days too long...which is really the perfect amount of time because then we were ready to come back to our reality and get the show back on the road.
That's a good thing because the show started soon after we got back.  Caleb had his day of school this week!
He had a few helpers getting ready.

There was no fear or hesitation as we dropped him off at car pool.  He loves his teachers and can't wait to go back next week!

We're glad for the rest, and now we're ready to hit the ground running for a great school year!
